Prepare the ingredients.

- Cut the bananas into pieces, mix with the sugar and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
- Pour the croissants into the mixing bowl with the banana/sugar mixture.
- Mix with the leaf attachment until you obtain a doughy texture.
- Add the eggs and the oil, and beat with the mixer.
- Add the flour, the baking powder, and the pecan nuts, and mix for two minutes.
- Pour the mixture into a greased cake mould and bake for 30 minutes at 170°C.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool before removing from the mould.
Chef's tip
Tip 1: Add chocolate chips for a more indulgent touch.

Tip 2: You can replace the pecan nuts with walnuts or hazelnuts.

Tip 3: This recipe also enables you to use bananas that are to ripe to be served to your customers as is.
