Prepare the ingredients.
- Prepare the emmental cream by combining the eggs, cream, and grated cheese + seasoning.
- Cut the croissant in two lengthways.
- Fill with the emmental cream and the slice of ham.
- Close the croissant and spread the thick cream on top then sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake for 14 minutes at 170°C.

Serve hot with a green salad.
Chef's tip
Tip 1: For a vegetarian recipe, replace the ham with tomato or mushrooms.

Tip 2: You can reheat the croissant with a panini grill, but in that case, do not put cheese on top.
